Best Shoes on Court in the Month of October

Sneaker recap so far this season

The NBA is back in action and players are bringing the heat. Players broke out their new signature kicks or signature collabs on the court. Although some of the star players like James Harden, Kyrie and Paul George have not debuted their signature shoes, I will rate and give you my opinion on the Top 5 basketball shoes this past month.

5. Big Baller Brand- ZO2 Prime Remix

Personally, I love what Lavar’s goal is with his business. Having his oldest son have his own shoe and not needing Nike, Adidas, or any of these big companies. Being able to market his own logo knowing that other companies wouldn’t give him his own shoe. This version of the shoes is way much better than the one Lonzo designed by himself. Reaching out to the Santa Ana to create the shoe and having investors to back them up is the best route. The price point is still insane at $495. Yet people will still buy the shoe even though it’s almost the same as Brand Black.

4. Under Armor- SCIV

Believe it or not, Stephen Curry debuted the shoe in The Finals last year. It was an eye-opener because players don’t debut the shoe until the season is over. UA is finally listening to Curry’s ankles. Knowing he has weak ankles UA responded with the ankle sock liner with the shoe and it’s the best looking shoes out of the Steph Curry line. They are releasing the Championship pack and those shoes looks extremely nice.

3. Nike- Lebron 15’s

NIKE BASKETBALL IS GOING THE RIGHT DIRECTING NOW. It honestly hurts me seeing Lebron hooping on some bulky shoes that no one wanted. These shoes is the best-looking shoes since the Lebron 10’s. The upper is what I love about the shoes. Not a lot of basketball shoes can be a lifestyle shoe. Meaning it won’t look right wearing them with jeans. This shoe can be both and finally seeing Nike going the right direction with one of the biggest athletes.

2. Nike- Air Jordan 32

Yes, Jordan is not playing anymore. He’s still dropping a new style every year. The 32’s are basically the more modern Jordan 2’s with the Flyknit in the upper. You have seen Jordan sponsor players from Jimmy Butler and Russell Westbrook with different models. They release two versions of the shoe, a low top, and high top shoe. I’m a fan of the shoe but just hoping they don’t overdo it with too many colorways and I’m planning to buy both versions of the shoe.

  1. Nike- Hyperdunks X Off-White (The Ten Collab)

People are going crazy for the Nike X Off-White drop. The hottest items of 2017. Virgil (Co-Founder of Off-White) did his thing with The Ten shoes. From The Air Jordan 1’s to The Air Max 90, all of them are just spectacular. All of them are going for a crazy amount of money from reselling. In the season opener vs Rockets, Draymond Green started breaking necks when he played in The Hyperdunks X Off-White in the first half. I couldn’t believe it when I saw it but then again they are basketball shoes. Later you also saw Devin Booker rocking them in court and Drake in a courtside game for his home team, Toronto Raptors.
