The twenty one year old from center for the Denver Nuggets has been taking the NBA by storm in only his second season in the NBA. Many already consider him the best passer in the NBA, I’ll show you why in a video below, and many others are already considering him to be the best big man in the NBA. I personally believe it’s too soon to crown him over DeMarcus Cousins, Karl Anthony Towns, Anthony Davis, Marc Gasol, and a few others, but Jokic continues to make the case.

For the 41st pick, I’m sure the Denver Nuggets are happy to have him.

Listed at 6’10, “The Joker” continues to dominate the NBA night in and night out on a mediocre Nuggets team. NBA fans are quickly starting to learn his name, especially after posting a triple double in a win over the Golden State Warriors tonight.

Now, it is no surprise that Jokic was able to dominate the Warriors who lack interior presence. However, It’s still great to see this European big man flourish in the League in ways that traditional centers just don’t do it. His ability to pass on the run and from the post is why Kobe labeled European players as more skilled basketball players than Americans in the past.

Kevin Pelton from even went as far as to question whether Jokic was the best player not in the all-star game ”

Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic didn’t draw much attention as a “snub” when All-Star reserves were announced late last month. After all, Jokic was barely more than a month removed from coming off the bench for a sub-.500 team. At the time, Damian Lillard and potential first-timers Mike Conley, Joel Embiid and Rudy Gobert had stronger cases.

Yet as Jokic has extended his impressive play as starting center over a longer period of time, it’s becoming tough to deny his production. With Denver scoring at an elite clip and Jokic putting up incredibly versatile numbers for a big man, it’s worth asking whether he’s the best player* not selected for Sunday’s All-Star Game.”
