“It seems like it’s going to be pretty easy for New York Knicks teammates Kristaps Porzingis and Carmelo Anthony to work out together after hours.

According to the New York Post, Porzingis has rented an apartment in the same Manhattan building that Anthony used for workouts recently.

The Post reports that Porzingis has rented units for himself and his two brothers in the Sky building on the west side of Manhattan.

Anthony designed a full-court gym in the building and used it for workouts earlier this summer before joining Team USA.

It’s unclear if Porzingis and Anthony plan to work out together at the gym in the Sky building (the court is part of a fitness club open to both residents and non residents). But Anthony helped ease Porzingis’ transition to the NBA last summer by working out with him at the Terminal 23 gym in Manhattan.

Porzingis also has a home in Westchester, near the Knicks’ practice facility. (ESPN.com’s Ian Begley /NYPost)”

No one has commented on whether or not Porzingis will be working out at Lifetime Athletic or not. However, I will say this as a Lifetime member myself (in the Boston area, not New York), the gym is very accessible and equipped to handle all levels in training. I’m sure Lifetime Athletic at Sky is even nicer and more accessible. In the early and late hours of the day, Porzingis will be able to get the privacy he needs to achieve his training goals. I’ve heard rumors from friends who visited the facility in the earlier parts of the summer that Melo was spotted shooting jump shots at different times there. I cannot confirm nor deny that but I will update you guys more when he returns from Team USA basketball. I’m sure Porzingis and Anthony will sneak in some workouts.

According to Porzingis’ Facebook page, Kristaps has been putting in work all summer and has been getting closer and closer to Melo.
