The Philadelphia 76ers have been an embarrassment to the legacy of their franchise ever since the Iverson era ended in Philadelphia. Years of mediocrity and “trusting the process” have finally delivered a simmer of hope for 76ers fans as the 3rd pick of the 2014 NBA draft, Joel Embiid, has and playing like a first round draft pick should. However, after the 76ers won their 10th game of the season, “The Process” has gone way ahead of himself. Poor Joel Embiid doesn’t know how trash the 76ers are,

“I think we have a chance. We’ve been hot lately,” he said. “We’ve won three out of four lately, so I look at it, and I think we have a chance, and we’re really figuring things out. We’re starting to learn how to win games.”

“I think we have a chance. We’ve been hot lately. We’ve won three out of four lately, so I look at it, and I think we have a chance, and we’re really figuring things out. We’re starting to learn how to win games.”

“We are winning basketball games more frequently than we have been, but for us it’s still, how are we doing what we do?” Brown said. “Are we doing our job? Are we not skipping steps? Are we putting in good days? And we believe as simple as that might sound, that they will add up.” (ESPN.com)

The 76ers managed to defeat the Timberwolves, Nuggets, and Nets which Embiid averaged just over 20 points and around 7 rebounds a game. However, leading up to their recent success, the 76ers had lost 6 of their last 7. Kahlil Okafor simply could not even guard me, never mind NBA talent, Nerlens Noel clearly doesn’t want to be in Philadelphia anymore, and Ben Simmons is still suffering from his injury he got from fighting while kangaroos in Australia… or however he got injured, I forget (Don’t kick Kangaroo kids, punch them).

The team still lacks NBA level talent at the guard position and are simply unwatchable when The Process is unavailable for game night. The 76ers are 2-8 without Joel in their line-up who is easing into the NBA lifestyle and even when Embiid does play, he is on minutes restriction. While I may be a huge Embiid fan, I don’t believe that the 76ers are anywhere close to sniffing the playoffs in the next two years. They are going to need a healthy front court and some smart trades this summer to even be in contention for the 8th seed. Until then, somebody inform Joel how bad the 76ers are for me…. Andddd if that doesn’t work, drug test him.

The 76ers are not just bad, they’re trash.
