He literally can’t help himself. The Bills haven’t won a Super Bowl in… oh wait? Never. Not to mention they haven’t even had a playoff birth since 1999. What makes him possibly think anything is going to change in the division. I guess this is what everyone loves about him though. No matter how awful the situation looks, Rex can always find a way to cheer himself, and his players, up.
Here is the bright-side: The Bills have some good talent on their roster. Sammy Watkins looks like he can be a star in the league, if he has a Quarterback who is willing to throw him the ball. LeSean McCoy and Karlos Williams look to be an outstanding duo who can both catch and rush. Their Defense continues to have solid players such as Marcell Dareus, Mario Williams, and Jerry Hughes. The talent is there.
Dark-Side: They still play in a division, in which, they are the third best team. New England and New York still have a lot more talent, and their coaching seems to be a lot better. Not mention the fact that Rex Ryan’s brother, Rob, who is the new Assistant Head Coach of the Bills, has had his share of problems as a Defensive Coordinator. His Saint’s defense, although he wasn’t there the whole year, gave up the most passing Touchdowns in NFL history. Now, although he wasn’t present for part of the season, he is still to blame.
Here is to another year of Sexy Rexy making ridiculous statements and not backing them up!
