Uncle Mike’s 2019 NFL Week 11 Picks

2019 NFL Week 11 Picks

Another week, another disappointing finish for our picks. With two games finishing in pushes, we finished the week 4-7-2. Who could’ve predicted that the Falcons would actually show up in a game for basically the first time this season and blow the doors off of the Saints? I also didn’t believe the Titans were capable of shutting down the Chiefs, but they did. This year is a strange one. I can’t seem to get a grasp on it all. Hopefully, it’s the 2019 NFL Week 11 Picks that get us back on track.

Overall Record Against The Spread: 66-78-3

Thursday Night Football

To my surprise, the Pittsburgh Steelers were the underdog going into the Thursday night match-up with the division rival Cleveland Browns. The Steelers had been moving along with Mason Rudolph at QB. Cleveland had just beaten Buffalo, but it was a battle. So, I expected the Steelers to win a tough AFC North contest by a close margin. What I didn’t know was that James Conner would leave just 13 plays in, and JuJu Smith-Schuster would follow just 9 plays later. Oh, and top of that, T.J. Watt would play his lowest snap total of the season due to injury as well. All of those worked against our pick, and while there was a wild scene on the field in the last few seconds, most who picked the Steelers had probably turned the game off early.
