Faker or Maker Game of the Week

Bears v. Dolphins

This is a very intriguing match-up to start the day in the 1:00 game slot. The Bears have looked amazing at times, and sometimes they’ve looked rough. The same is also true for Miami, who are just above .500. This game features two quarterbacks who are at opposite ends, career-wise.

Mitchell Trubisky is finally starting to grasp his potential, and Ryan Tannehill has somehow been just flat for the last five years or so. Tannehill is nearing the end, and might even see a departure from his team in the coming years, as the Dolphins look to get younger and faster with the rest of the league.

As for the betting, the lines are at CHI -4, Moneyline CHI -205/Miami +170, and O/U 41.5.

This seems to be pretty iffy, and the lines feel a bit grey, but my gut tells me

Picks: CHI 4, CHI Moneyline, Under 41.5.

Actual Good Football Game of the Week

Kansas City v. New England

This is one of the first football games I’m very excited for. The Patriots are fully loaded and the Chiefs are a wagon, but this is the game that should prove me right. I mean this is finally the game Patty Mahomes slows down. New England has been planning and scheming and this should be a massive comedown game for Mahomes. I’m not saying he’s gonna throw for 90 yards and six picks, but he could have a quiet game.

Picks: NE -3.5, NE Moneyline, Under 60.

60 is just way to high for me. I don’t see it hitting that and can’t bring myself to bet it.

Murder of the Week

All of the games are pretty close, but Minnesota v. Buffalo should be a kill.

Vikings -10, Vikings Moneyline, Over 44.

Remember:

Look good, play good.

Play good, pay good.

Pay good, live good.

Live good, die good.
