TPR’s Daily Overreaction: Steph Curry Is Better Than Kevin Durant

If the Warriors did not win another game for the rest of the season, they’d finish with a 12-70 record which would put them in a prime spot to draft Luka Doncic. That is of course, if they could hop in Trunks’ time machine and spin back the clock. Expert opinion? The Warriors need to figure out how to win a game because it’s too late to tank for Doncic. So we’ve established that the Warriors can’t tank for Doncic. However, can they win a game again this season?

Golden State Warriors (12-6):

The Warriors have lost 3 straight, and 5 in their past 7. Their red hot start to the season came to an end once Draymond Green took a truth serum. Take a life lesson from your boy TPR; if you want to truly piss somebody off, tell them the truth. Green took a page out of The Great TPR’s book and did just that. Since then, the Warriors have been incapable of winning a game. It’s either that or their MVP point guard missing games due to injury, you decide. An overreaction would be to state that Curry is better than Durant. The reality is, Kevin Durant’s size enables him to be the better individual player. However, he’s not a point forward. The Warriors need Curry. They also need Draymond Green to stop spitting facts.

Los Angeles Lakers (9-7):

LeBron James did what he does best, helping Miami lose. Westbrook haters won’t admit it, but King James participated in stats padding activities last night. Luke Sky Walton kept James in the game to allow him to reach the 50 point mark. James did just that. The Lakers are doing way better than I expected them to. They’re winning more games than they should have. After a closer look, Tyson Chandler’s impact has been a very positive one for the Lakers. P.S, The Lakers’ record continues to haunt us Celtics fans.

Memphis Grizzlies (10-5):

They’re not the same Grizzlies from last year, that’s for sure. Although Chandler Parsons is still robbing them, the Grizzlies have been finding ways to win games. Michael Conley Jr. and Marc Gasol have had the impact we expected them to make thus far this season.

Other stories around the NBA:

Turns out Kevin Knox is not better than Michael Jordan. Towns had 20 bricks, a lot to pick up after Butler left. Kemba Walker is still not a top 10 point guard. Hassan Whiteside is still not a top 10 center. Amir Johnson is still the king of hustle. Orlando Magic have been winning way too many games. Nobody eats in Washington. The Orlando Magic love hanging 130+ points on bad teams. Rudy Gobert is the Boston Celtics’ father. Kawhi Leonard is good at basketball. The Thunder have won nine out of their last ten. Turns out Luka Doncic is not a bust. Carmelo Anthony scored as many points as I did last night. Ben Simmons is still a coward.
